Who is the new Miss New York Haiti International 2020?

An ambitious entrepreneur, Sofia Rinvil is the founder of ImmiSource, a company that provide quality services to immigrants while developing cutting-edge technologies and companies. Sofia's has worked with variety of U.S. immigration issues focused on adjustment of status, family based immigration, removal (deportation) proceedings, employment based immigration, migrants and refugees from different backgrounds where she witnessed how individuals were deeply affected by their immigration status.
She has worked as the Immigration and New Citizen Services Coordinator for the City of New Jersey, Mayor’s Office of Welcoming Communities where she assisted in decision-making and policy development. She worked as the Legal Fellow at the Immigration Law Firm, in New York City, she provided support to the attorneys with pending cases, communicated with various federal and state agencies, contacts clients and prepared immigration applications, and conducts legal research.
She has also worked as the Job Development Refugee Services Fellow at the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) in Albany, New York assisting recently arrived refugees and immigrants with employment preparation for entry-level job placement. Sofia’s other positions include, summer internship at the State Attorney General Offices of New Jersey and Maryland. Sofia's is also a Global Ambassador for Mogul, which is a global platform for women, Advisor for Linkedin, Mentor Coach for first generation college students, Consultant, Court Appointed Advocate for foster children, ACSCAN Ambassador for the American Cancer Society.
She holds degrees in Political Science, Global Affairs and Human Security, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, and Law from separate top-tier programs. Sofia has held various Board positions and volunteer leadership positions with several organizations, including American Cancer Society and National Alliance for the Advancement of Haitian Professionals. As someone who enjoys helping others, when she isn't helping serve the justice system. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, binge-watching shows and boxing.
Sofia hopes to make her country proud while competing on a global stage as Miss Haiti New York City International 2020 in the upcoming Haiti International Pageant to show that regardless of your background, age, or the challenges you've faced, you can do any and eventing you set your mind to. In the end, her ultimate goal for competing in this pageant is to bring awareness to the importance of education, health, and community services at the national and international level.
